Community helpers are people who live and work in our communities. Every day, they help us in a variety of ways. Doctors, nurses, chefs, bakers, astronauts, soldiers, teachers, dentists, mail carriers, firefighters, and farmers are some examples of community helpers.

- Cook / Chef : A cook prepares our meals every day.

- Policeman : Policeman enforces laws, investigate crimes, and maintain order.
- Carpenter : A carpenter makes doors, windows, tables and chairs.
- Nurse: She looks after sick people especially under the guidance of a doctor.
- Cobbler : He mends shoes.
- Doctor : A doctor treats people who are sick.
- Farmer : He grows crops.
- Postman : He delivers letters.
- Firefighter : He extinguishes fires.
- Barber : He shaves, trim, or style hair and beards.
- Teacher : She teaches in a school or college.
