This simple sheep outline turned into the most adorable fluffy sheep craft — and the best part? It was completely hands-on and sensory-rich!
Instead of just coloring, we explored textures and creativity by filling the sheep’s wool area with different white materials like wool, sabudana (sago pearls), white buttons, tissue paper, and shredded paper. The result was a beautiful, textured sheep that kids absolutely loved making (and touching!).
How We Made the Sheep Craft
Here’s how you can recreate it:
Print the sheep outline.
Apply glue on the wool area.
Let your child stick different white materials to make the sheep fluffy.
We used:
Soft wool – for a realistic woolly effect
Sabudana – for a fun, bumpy sensory texture
White buttons – for a cute 3D look
Crumpled tissue paper – for softness
Shredded paper – for light and airy texture
You can use one material or mix them all — each version looks unique!
